Striped Nails!

Alright, So I painted my nails again and I used similar colors as last time I posted about my nails but I went for the stripes this time :) I used a clear base coat from OPI and then the taupe color from ICE, then for the stripes I used the deep purple called "carry on" by Essie and finally for my top coat (which I didn't have on in my picture yet) is Sally Hansen Nail growth Miracle (clear).

Also! I just bought a cute ring from forever21 for $1.50!!! :) I love owl accessories.

Halloween! Black Swan.

So this weekend is Halloween and I decided to be Black Swan!!! It was one of my favorite movies this past year and I LOVE Natalie Portman :) So I decided to be Black Swan---Here are some pictures on how I did my make up! (And one of my best friends was as the white swan)

Alright so first started out with a clean face--

 Then I used black gel eye liner to draw onto my face

 Then I filled in between the black with silver eye shadow-- But I added water to the eye shadow to make it more like paint.

 Then I added the red lips

And the final product!!!!

A few days before this my friend Soojin (white swan) did my make up for me for another Halloween outing. Here are some pictures of us doing make up and messing around :)

White Lace~

Alright so I just bought this really pretty white lace top from Hollister thanks to my friend Thuy-- I'm not sure how it was because I got a discount (I work there) But here are some pictures- my hair is straight and natural makeup.

School outfit! Brrr..

So today it's in the 40s-50s BRRR.... I'm so happy because I finally get to wear SCARVES!!! :)  So my outfit today is a forest green flowy shirt from forever21 that was around $10, Hollister super skinny jeans for $45?? And a scarf that was $10 from H&M!!! My little heart necklace is one my mom gave me (I thought I had lost it for a while but I found it!!!) and I'm not sure where she got it from.  My hair is my natural curls...so I braided it :) And my shoes are oxfords from Target-- I think they were $20? Hopefully I can stay warm today!!!

Nails for this week!!

Alright so generally I change my nails once a week because I will start to bite them once the nail polish starts coming off. Plus I find it to be my "me time" when I'm painting my nails.  SO this week I'm doing different colors on my nails. First of all, I ALWAYS use OPI natural nail base coat, it protects your nails and keeps them somewhat healthy if you're like me and paint your nails all year round--

Then I paint my nails! This week I used Taupe Drawer by ICE on the majority of my fingers.  Then on my ring fingers I used Carry On by Essie (love their nail polish), and finally on my thumbs I used Master Plan from Essie.

Then finally I always put a cover coat on and this time I used Sally Hansen NailGrowth Miracle over my colored nails.
